Sussex County was so very fortunate to be able to host this Understanding Critical Race Theory (CRT) event put on by the Heritage Action Foundation, a national conservative policy advocacy organization founded in 2010. Heritage Action, which has affiliates throughout the United States, is a sister organization of the conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation. Heritage Action has been called a "powerhouse in a new generation of conservative groups" and "perhaps now the most influential lobby group among Congressional Republicans."
This event was initiated and organized by our very own STARS co-Advisor Marilyn Booker, who is also the Chair of the Sussex GOP and Chair of the Sussex County Republican Women's Club. THANK YOU, Marilyn!!
The event was held at Crossroads Community Church in Georgetown Delaware, which is a state of the art facility, which we were so fortunate to have Crossroads offer to host this nonpartisan event. There were over 500 people in physical attendance and over 1,000 who live streamed the event from across the country!
