Support Sending a STAR to Conservative Youth America Foundation at Ronald Reagan Ranch

YAF leads the Conservative Movement with the most effective, powerful and inspiring conservative education programs for high school students. You will be pleased to know that Young America's Foundation recently welcomed students and parents to the Reagan Ranch and Reagan Ranch Center for a YAF Conservative Activism Motivational Program (C.A.M.P.).

The first day opened with a lecture from YAF alumnus Diante Johnson, who discussed his activism and founding of the Black Conservative Federation. Students also heard from Dr. Burt Folsom, YAF's longest-serving faculty member, who discussed the history of successful American entrepreneurs who accomplished what government-subsidized projects failed to do. The Daily Wire's Elisha Krauss stressed the importance of valuing, not erasing, the differences between men and women. Young people toured the Ranch and were inspired by longtime Reagan friend Dennis LeBlanc. The day concluded with remarks from YAF President Governor Scott Walker, who discussed President Reagan's belief in freedom and frugality. Saturday morning began with an inspiring speech from Congressman Mike Garcia (CA-25), who reminded students that public officials work for the citizens, and they should hold their representatives accountable. Project If Life founder Anna Strasburg shared a stirring pro-life message, and Dr. David Newton discussed how the current administration's tax ideology will negatively impact Americans. New York Times bestselling author and YAF alumnus Jason Mattera wrapped up YAF C.A.M.P. with an enlightening speech highlighting the inconsistencies in the Left's treatment of race and gender ideologies. Reagan Fernandez from Trinity Classical Academy said, "I feel so blessed that I have been given this incredible opportunity to equip myself with tools to support the Conservative Movement." Paige McCullough from Abington High School echoed this sentiment, noting, "By the end of the weekend, I felt like I new Ronald Reagan. I will continue to advocate for conservative ideas wherever I go."

It is our goal to send a STARS high school student to this day camp. Your support of STARS makes breakthrough opportunities like this one possible and sets a young person on his or her life path.

In the months ahead, YAF will be hosting additional high school and college programs, including our signature summer conference, YAF's 43rd annual National Conservative Student Conference in Houston, Texas. It is an exciting time to be reaching young leaders!

You are instilling a freedom philosophy in the hearts of so many young Americans. Thank you for your support and involvement!

Keep fighting for freedom,

Governor Scott Walker

President
