Sussex Teenage Republicans - STARS are a motivated group of local 12 to 19-year-olds who are interested in good government and policies that have made and continue to make the United States the greatest country on earth.

There are many benefits to being a STAR.

 

A few of these are:

  • STARS have an impact on elections.

  • STARS learn organizational and leadership skills.

  • STARS enjoys fun, educational social events.

  • STARS gets firsthand experience in the political process.

  • STARS are aware of local, national, and international issues and how current events impact their lives.

  • STARS represents the future leadership for the GOP as many have gone in to hold prominent GOP offices.

  • STARS become well-informed voters and involved citizens who care about good government.

DE STARS is a statewide group that is devoted to helped local Teenage Republican groups get started in their area, with support on classes, topics and forming their own by laws and participating on the national level for all of DE STARS groups.

The purpose of the DE STARS is:

 

  • To act as an advisory panel to provide guidance to create and form other DE State teenage Republican clubs and:

  • To bring young people into the Republican Party and to provide an opportunity for them to find political expression and recognition;

  • To foster and encourage the activities of the Republican Party to promote its ideals;

  • To collect, analyze, discuss, and disseminate information concerning political affairs and political philosophy of Teen Age Republicans.

  

If you are a teen between the ages of 12 and 19 and you are a resident of Delaware and you would like to start your own local teenage Republican club or high school Republican club, please email the DE STARS and we can help you get started and even attend some of your first meetings!
